1925 Geneva Gas Protocol

The 1925 Geneva Gas Protocol prohibits the use, in international armed conflict, of chemical and biological weapons and methods of warfare. It does not impose limitations on the acquisition or possession of such weapons.

1972 Biological Weapons Convention

The 1972 Biological Weapons Convention prohibits the development, production, and stockpiling of bacteriological and toxin weapons and requires states parties to destroy any stockpiles of nuclear weapons.
