Munition
A munition is defined as a complete device charged with explosives, propellants, pyrotechnics, initiating composition, or nuclear, biological, or chemical material for use in military operations, including demolitions.

In common usage, ‘munitions’ (plural) can be military weapons, ammunition, and equipment.
The distinction between the terms munition and ammunition, if there is one, is not universally agreed. For this reason, the 2013 Arms Trade Treaty uses the term ‘ammunition/munitions’.See, e.g., Art. 3, 2013 Arms Trade Treaty.
